The twelve suits of the hanafuda flower deck, sorted the two ways a player already knows them: by half of the year, and by whether the suit is a tree or a flowering plant. Later rounds sort kana and kanji numerals the same way.
How to play
A card appears with a value or word. Swipe left for one category and right for the other: or tap the zone buttons. Each round a timer counts down; miss it and you lose a life.
Objective
Sort as many cards as possible without losing all your lives.
Strategy tips
Lock in the rule before the round starts. Spend the first second reminding yourself of the two categories: that mental clarity is worth more than the extra time.
Commit and move on. Hesitation is the biggest time-killer. A wrong swipe costs one life; hesitating too long costs the same life plus wastes time on every card.
Use a consistent swipe gesture for each category: same finger, same motion, same direction every time. Muscle memory means you don't have to decide direction, only category.
