A lightning-fast card-matching game inspired by Japanese competitive karuta. A poem's opening line is read aloud; you must find its matching closing-line card before the timer expires.
How to play
Read the opening poem line shown at the top of the screen. Scan the cards spread below and tap the one whose closing line matches. If you run out of time the correct card is revealed in gold before the next round begins.
Objective
Correctly identify the matching card for every poem before the timer runs out.
Strategy tips
Focus on the first two or three words of the opening line: those are usually the most distinctive and narrow the search quickly.
Scan in rows rather than randomly. A structured left-to-right, top-to-bottom sweep lets your eye catch matching words faster than jumping around.
After each round, note which card you almost chose. Repeated near-misses reveal which pairs you are confusing, so you can mentally anchor those lines.
